I am going to jot down something I learned while raising Leigh.
I don't think I have mastered them but I am impressed at things I learned because it's all unspoken common sense.
I am pretty sure I can't write it all down but just a few that pops into my head right now...
1. Every child is different, never compare but appreciate her/his uniqueness
2. Never teach children that saliva, pee pee, poo poo is dirty!
saliva= helps you digest
pee pee or poo = anyone who can't poo or pee is sick! it means you are healthy
they have their roles and very important ones too! they just need to know how to clean after themselves.
3. Learn to tidy/clean up, it might take months and years to learn this trick but do try.
4. If you say your hellos and thank yous, and sorries, they see and hear you.
5. Smile, smile!!! be happy! have a positive mind, it's contagious especially to kids :) and it leads to a happy smiling child who'd want to solve things when in trouble instead of whining and being unhappy. (I need to polish this skill)
6. Try and help children and point out on how to figure out the solution but not the solution itself.
(to moderation, you know what I mean)
7. Learning is important but playing is even more when you are young.
8. Learn to wait, be patient in all situations.
(will I ever learn?)
There are so many more to go add but I will stop here.
Should add on :)
