I wrote this ages ago I think but found in the draft section.
Donburi (rice bowl with toppings) is a great way to solve your dinner problem when you don't want to cook too much but you want to make your family happy.
Well, it seems to be the case here in Japan.
On the right is 'maguro/tuna tsuke & tororo/tuna-don' (maguro/tuna marinated in yuzu-kosho and soy sauce) with tororo (grated sticky yam?). On the right is salmon and avocado donburi also marinated before hand. (Leigh had it with a bit of Japanese mayo over it)
Made some sushi rice and placed it over the rice, then ta~da~! done! so easy!
Served with miso soup and some salad :)
