layers of happiness: So school started today

So school started today

Yay! the teacher from hell is gone and she has left the building.
(An ad new lady teacher came and I had good first impression)
Yup, GONE.

I am so relieved, and almost in a dazed-phase because I struck this block of good luck.
(I feel sorry for the kids who are going to have our last year's lady teacger next, but you know she is definitely going to meet her match if she goes the way she does and it won't end nicely... I don't know how I made it through...2014-15 was not a good year for Leigh at school)

So Leigh has her 1st year teacher back. Mr.H as her class teacher.
He is... okay. He tries hard to do well but sometimes I feel he doesn't entirely get what it is to assist a child who needs special care. But then this is his 3rd year as a special class teacher, he too needs time to learn how to cope.
He is a little too aggressive with kids but I can handle it, it's nothing compared to the crazy lady teacher = "the old fox" as a friend of mine calls this lady teacher.

Leigh's special class is divided into 2 this year once again.
Class one is for kids who are challenged intellectually (6 kids).
Class two is for kids who are challenged with controlling emotions./moods (3 kids)
Leigh is in class two (Leigh is slow with words but she can still follow her study for her age so I am guessing they feel this is the way to go).
`
If I am allowed to be concerned:
One boy in Leigh's class who is in the 6th grade has a severe problem with his mood.
He kind of gets out of control with anger... (I am tiny bit worried this will bother Leigh)
The other little boy from the 2nd grade cries and breaks down when things don't go in the right direction for him (Leigh is not bothered by him, actually likes him a lot but he has allergy so he sneezes big time and that makes Leigh break up big time, sigh... nothing is perfect).

But I keep reminding myself it's better than a teacher who keeps telling Leigh and me that "Leigh is a good for nothing who can't do anything right" and screams...
How dare she! (yes I had a fight with her in the end)
Okay, will post something more pleasant next :)

Oh btw it snowed today.
Snow in April is not normal.
I take it as salt = snow after the fox left. (most asian will get this joke)
Yes I can be mean too.

Well, finalement! A new page for you and Leigh. I hope this year's experience with the new teacher will replace the unpleasant ones with the witch. She sounds like one mean witch. I cannot imagine a teacher saying such cruel things about her student. You are right, she won't go very far without this falling on her somehow. Gee. Begone!

Well, well, this is a relief. Now you can concentrate on the chelation. I read your comments on the previous post. So much to consider indeed. One less worry is good though, let's hope for more good news!! Fingers triple crossed!

Big hug, you are right! Great day for you and Leigh. xoxo
