Whenever we went out for Thai in HK when I was a little girl, my favorite drink to order was a whole coconut with a little paper umbrella and a straw. That's all it took to feel resorty even in a crammed tiny Thai restaurant :)
Ah things memories do for you.Coconuts are getting a lot of spot lights these days, mostly because of ppl recognising coconut oil for its nutrient benefits. I myself use a lot of coconut oil because it's suppose to be good for Leigh's brain activity. Lately coconut is has taken up attentions because the TV has been raving about its benefits for ppl with dementia.
So even coconut juice gets some attention and they are producing more coconut things.
And this! 100% natural coconut juice in a bottle! only 86 yen too.
(I rejoiced when they sold cocout juice at 7/11 for 250 yen 2 years ago... but they stopped in a month since they didn't sell well... otherwise I could only get it online or at high end supermarkets)
But this! I love the taste and the fact that I can pick them up at the local supermarket.
I hope they sell well otherwise they will be gone in a couple of months like my last favorite the Welsch sparkling 100% fruit juice ...

I love coconut juice and yes, those whole coconuts have really resort feel to them. Anything coconut feels resort like esp. when added into cocktail. I want a Pina colada right now!
I would kill to go to a nice chic bar and have pina colada in HK watching the harbour and the lights that sparkle above and on it :)
same here! Intercontinental (Regent Hotel) sounds nice!
Yes!!! Exactly! You read my mind and I think we did that couple of times before :)
