love letter

Can such love exist?
Yes it can.
The love I feel for my girl is amazing. Her little wrinkles when she cries, the baby hair that is still growing around her forehead, the too big new teeth, limbs are getting slightly too long for her proportion... things are starting to get awkward to become a beautiful woman... the list goes on.

All these unseemly insignificant details are burned into my visual memory forever. New ones come in everyday like newsfeed on CNN...
I can almost smell her when I think of her, and she makes me dizzy.
I, her mother is her witness to this miracle process of growing up.
All the little growth may yield to an adult, a figure I cannot imagine at this moment.
I am just happy to to witness the glorious growth... it's pure privilege.
When I go pick her up at school, I cannot hide my excitement.
I want her to feel important, valued. Her victory is mine and I can't wait to hear out what she has to say about her day.

I need to be the yes-person not the no-person. I need my girl to feel invincible, yet I set all sorts of boundaries, I am the protector. I am her wall .... both physical and hopefully moral.

She needs astonishing amount of energy and fuel and naturally that comes from my cooking. Her 3 meals are made with my hands almost everyday....

I try to put myself in her shoes and I don't know how she does it.
She can't even express herself fully but she gets through her day, in her own ways. She is that awesome, can you blame me for worshipping her? I hope she meets a man, friend, soul mate.. whoever one day who worships her as much as I do... or more.

Hug hug hug and kiss kiss kiss to my angel.
This is my love letter to you, you are my forever angel, my love.

Not too elegant a love letter but I tried. And I think it's a reminder of who I want to be I think.
I am not this sweet every single day (haha). I am also a selfish mom who wants her own time at times (can't wait for her to go to school on days like that).
Don't we all... please say yes. :)
