I don't think I have accomplished anything that I had in mind.
Except meeting the dead line for Leigh's summer holiday homework which took us a long long time... so waste of time... (what did I just say that aloud?)
Leigh is back at school.
I am slowly picking up my pace for work and so on..
Oh I just remembered one really nice piece of memory from August.
I went to Hogwarts! (at universal studio) I went to Hogsmeade! (I rode the rides!) I went to Olivanders! the Honeydukes!
It was exactly like the movie/book.
I drank Butter beer!
People who went with me were ALL non-HarryPotter fans so they were all grimacing and complaining and even some laughing (it looked like jeering to me, how dare they) that butter beer was not beer... it was like drinking cold butter scotch candy, that's what it was ;)
Yes! it's for kids! it's served at The Three Broomsticks!
And so I had to lecture them on what this drink was about and how it's not a real beer.
Hermione would have been proud. (grin)
(I thought I saw K roll his eyes)
