Lunch
Half a grapefruit
Sauteed onion and smoked salmon
Kidney beans and tomato soup
I am trying to eat healthily.
What ever that means.
Everytime my mother nature visits, I am bloating badly to the point I think I am getting slightly pregnant! After mother nature leaves, I am back to my normal weight since 20 years ago.
I feel like, oh wow- what was that!
I may cheat in a few days but here I am trying.
Besides, I feel like I cannot deal with myself so well when I feed myself in the ways I have been in the past years.
Is it age?

I have been experiencing the same thing - the weight gain. I am blaming it on age. And unfortunately for me, I absolutely love food. :(
I love food too! but the bloating and the discomfort has come to a point that I feel like I have to do something about it.
You feel the same? oh no.... and you also think it's age?
Let's not tell anyone about this (wink)
It's definitely age! Love everything on the menu and the lovely colors do make this a happy meal. Oh, I tried out the goji berry drinks. Chrysanthemum + goji berry is really great to take the "heat" out of the body. It helps ease the heat and tiredness of your eyes, works especially well after staring at the computer screen for hours. A great drink during the day, love the fragrance of chrysanthemum and the goji berry gives it a slight sweetness :p
As for the goji berry + longnan, believe it or not, it helps me sleep. I don't take any sleeping pill now. Isn't it amazing? I prepare this during the day, just dump a handful of each into a thermos and by evening I can drink it. It warms the body and it's actually very calming.
I wish you could find a shop that sells Chinese stuff so you could give it a try.
Bonnie,
oh no... so I was right about age.
No sleeping pills anymore? isn't that a huge hooray for you?? wow!!
Good for you!
And they all turned out to be good!! may be I will go to a Chinese shop soon... somewhere very very far away I think.
Thanks for letting me know how well they work! :)
I so totally trust your trials :)
