life goes on

We are back to normalcy again.
Leigh is back to school, and I am busy finishing odd work so that I am almost work free during Leigh's summer holiday. (Yay! I can sleep more!)

Lot is happening this summer too and so I have to really use my time wisely or else I think it's just going to zoom by.

Lately I have been trying to eat right, small amount of animal protein and lots of vegies and water...
I have been cutting out gluten as much as possible so no more noodles or bread.

So far I feel very clear in the head :) am I just imagining it?

Above is our breakfast shot.
-Fruit granola + almond milk
-Strawberry + cashew + honey yoghurt
-Edamame kale salad with sesame dressing
-Chia seeds grape juice

I lost weight to start with then the clearer head and concentration and better memories.
And less mood swings before mother nature comes. I am guessing and hoping this helps with menopause too because PMS and menopause is all about the hormones.
No gluten really helps.
Especially no gluten from dinner onward I think.
Cutting bread was very hard. Then noodles came next.
Don't even start with desserts because all cookies, and sweet heavenly things include flour.
(but I didnt cut gluten strictly- if it had on any other food... like sprinkled flour over meat, I allowed that)
It really helps that Leigh is on strict gluten free diet.. so I just eat what she eats and lots of vegies and fruits if I am hungry.

I cheated a couple of times, eating toast for breakfast couple of times or half a bowl of noodle with a friend tho -
