Fifth Disease

Yes, that's what Leigh has. Lacy redness.
We didn't test for it but doctor thinks that's what she has since her blood work didn't show major illness that he was afraid of (which is good)
I asked if we could test for it but he said fifth disease result only come back in a week to two's time which by that time she is already cured of it so there is no use... besides there is no med for fifth disease...
So we are locked up in the house for a week. Still are.

Normally kids who turn red already do not pass on anymore. It's simply of a sign of the disease leaving the body. These children get fever, rosy cheeks, then the redness spreads to arms, torso, and legs then disappear (tho it can emerge by stress or heat or exercises).
Sigh, we are not so normal are we? There are rare cases.
I was reading some case studies and this one doc who has treated kids for 3o years says he has seen 2 cases in his entire career just like Leigh's...
In Leigh's case it's the other way around = yes the rare kind.
She gets it from legs then arms (we are at this stage currently) then cheeks... and sometimes fever comes last.
She now has low fever of 37.8C.
We are going to see the doc tomorrow morning so we will see...

Parvovirus...learned something new. You have so much on hands experience you should write a book about everyday kids stuff.
