New in our home

We want to get a dog, but Leigh is allergic to dogs...
Okay, a cat then? K is allergic to cats...
Birds? they say birds let out a lot of allergic things that I don't know what but since Leigh is so sensitive to everything, I don't think I will take a chance and later worry who should have our bird.

So, we came down to getting some goldfish.
Pretty tropical fish (something like Nemo) was an option too but we went for easy maintenance.
Fish! no one can be allergic to it! can one?
Anyways, we got 2 goldfish to start with.
Here they are, very quiet and constantly closing and opening their mouth and swimming about :)
I am told I shouldn't fee the gold fish too often. Even once a week is just fine.
Really? well we decided to feed them every Wednesday and Sunday.
You can bet a dollar to finding lots of after math of fish food around the fish bowl on Wednesday and Sunday mornings around the bowl. You know who's feeding (wink)
(sometimes I see fish food flakes lying around on Leigh's bed @-@)

See the beautiful roses about to finish blooming and about to go?
I can't throw them away, not right now anyways, they smell sooooo gorgeously nice.
They were cut from this lady's garden who has her son go to same school as Leigh does and she asked me if I had 3 mins this morning.
We were talking and she cut me some to bring home :) imagine how her entrance smells like with almost a hundred buds like these! :D
Thank you! makes it extra nice to receive from a nice person in the morning too :)

Fish is nice! I heard somewhere it's easy to overfeed them since they'll gorge themselves, no sense of fullness so they'll eat and eat and eat. My, hope Leigh is simply feeding them and not tasting the flakes!
Such nice flowers, love where you put everything on a tray, nice touch. :D

Really!
We actually had a goldfish which died on us last year... and back then Leigh fed it everyday....

So now it's down to twice a week.
Hope they will live longer and ore happily.
(And yes, let's hope Leigh is NOT eating the flakes)

The tray is an old old one from 100 yen shop hehe.
Still does its job!
