Hello, I am gaining weight. I am not even attracted to food like above yet I am gaining weight. I think it's age + not enough moving. I really think it's time to run again but...
tell me about weight gain! you gain a lot of weight cos of the hormonal changes during menopause, sigh...and eating habits change, too. I take a lot more sugar now. I didn't drink coke for most of my 40 years, and it's only started these couple of years. I take in a lot more carbs, too hence the weight gain. One thing reinforces the other though, hormones bring in the cravings. Yikes
Oh no.... I hope there is an easy solution! I try to eat between 8-9 hours in the day time only. But I make sure I have 3 meals at least, ideally smaller meals 5 times if I am home. And no carbs as possible... I try my best not to take noodles and breads out (basically gluten free)... (but I eat a toast in the morning every 2-3 days because I love eating toast with butter and cheese...) I know some ppl take animal protein out but that doesn't work for me... I feel my skin is much nicer with protein intake and finally vegies! definitely a must... My doctor recommends no carbs and only meat and vegies, but that's impossible for me. He is like meat is essential for your brain to balance all the right secretion to stay happy and alert. He says it should be the case for everyone... once in a while I cheat and eat a doughnut or something :) That makes me happy too!
If menopause hits... I don't know how much the above is going to help... but I guess it's better to follow than none..
